Nightlife. Well, you won't get much of this in Aird Uig, I am afraid, other than what you make yourself and perhaps a ceilidh/live music at the local Community Centre, Several of the pubs by the waterfront in Stornoway have live music at the weekends though, usually staging traditional Celtic or Scottish performers. Clachan Bar, North Beach Street (tel. 01851/703-653) hosts live bands downstairs and a disco upstairs, on Friday and Saturday evenings, which is apparently attended by locals and visitors alike. Another bar with live music is Lewis Bar, South Beach Street (tel. 01851/704-567). Both rock and traditional bands are known to perform here on Saturdays.
CD's click on this link to take you to The Guardhouse shop and a list of CD's made by local artists, which you can purchase via Amazon.
